Mickey passed away Oct. 23, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT on March 21, 1953. Mickey was a fun-loving man who enjoyed life, and he will be missed by his many friends and family who loved him very much. Mickey enjoyed painting, handyman home repairs and playing his guitar. He was an expert in auto body and carpentry. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps where he mastered his Expert Rifle Marksmanship and Computer Programming. He continued with his career in computer programming for eight years.
Survived by his wife, Brenda; children, Mickey Jr., Renae, Joe, Matthew, Ben and Steve; brother, Bob; sisters, Mary, Juanita, Pat and Gina; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Sammie, Bella and Atticus. Preceded in death by his parents, Clement “Mickey” and Dorothy (Canavan) Kenyon; and brother, Butch.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 at the Sonrise Baptist Church, 4400 W. 3550 S. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family.
