Sue passed away on October 10, 2011. She was born in Parowan, Utah to Alma Fredrick and Bessie Mickelson Stubbs on July 3, 1930. She married Nolan Lee Bess on August 13, 1949. Together they had two daughters, Beverly and Susan. She raised her family with unconditional love and never ending support. We have all been truly blessed to have had her in our lives.

She is survived by her daughters, Beverly (Dell) Jeffs and Susan (Robert) Owens, brother Donald, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Nolan, her parents, brothers Bill, Joe and Bob, and her great great grandson Kaden.Graveside services will be held October 15, 2011 at the Parowan City Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
