(June 2, 1934 - October 21, 2011)
Ned Hermansen, 77, completed his earthly mission Oct. 21, 2011, returning home to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father and his loving wife Bonnie. Ned was born June 2, 1934 to Jorgen and Fern Squire Hermansen. Ned married Bonnie J. Johnson on September 1, 1955, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised two wonderful boys, David Ned and Ronald Dee.
Ned was a hard worker and worked as a General Contractor building beautiful homes. He was an active member of the LDS Church. After retirement, Ned enjoyed traveling extensively with his beloved wife, Bonnie. Ned is survived by sons; David N. (Myrna) Hermansen, Ronald D. (Donna) Hermansen; grandchildren; Matthew (Lily), Cory (Melissa), Kayci (Mark) Winn, Amber, Desiree, Lacey, great grandchildren; Mackenzie, Alina, Corban, brother; Dean (Carol) sisters; Vadna (Wayne) Swan, Donna Prince.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday October 27th at 11:00 am at the Westland 7th Ward Chapel, 7115 S. 3200 W. with viewings Wednesday October 26th from 6-8:00pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 S) and 1 hr prior to the service Thursday at the church. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates.
