Marianne Bolles De Carlo passed away from colon cancer on October 29, 2011. She was an inspiration to us all in her attitude and courage to fight her cancer.
She was born December 31, 1968, as the oldest of six children to Alan and Sally Swenson Bolles in Fullerton, CA. Marianne was raised in Orange County, California and Auburn, Washington. She married Michael R. De Carlo on October 8, 2005.Marianne was a beautiful woman who enjoyed life and loved her husband, family, nieces and nephews and many friends very much. She always had a smile and was a happy, positive person whose personality touched many. Marianne graduated from Auburn High School in 1987. She went on to attend BYU earning a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance in 1992. She worked for the LDS church, Fidelity Investments, First Health, and Wells Fargo.
She enjoyed horseback riding, camping, music, games, quilting and crafts. She most enjoyed children and hoped to one day have some of her own. Unfortunately, due to the cancer she was unable to; however, she was adored and loved by many children throughout her life. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving in Primary, Young Women and Relief Society. She was a gifted organist and will be greatly missed in the church.
She is survived by her husband Michael R. De Carlo, Her brother Jason (Kristi Ann) Bolles, her sister Alison (Adam) Richards, her brother Jared (Jessica) Bolles, her sister Emily (Andrew) Stout, her brother Jordan (Emily) Bolles.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Highland 25th Ward, 5335 West 11200 North, Highland, UT. Friends may visit with the family at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy, (10600 South), South Jordan, Utah, Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. or at the church Saturday from 11:00-12:30 a.m. Interment at the Highland City Cemetery.
